Greg Callen
Greg's Story For owner Greg Callen, golf is more than a game. Greg will tell you this sport is a masterclass in adaptation. His remarkable story is written in the professional milestones, certifications, and community pillars he’s built over the last two decades across Central New York. Before his leadership at Tee Time, Greg spent more than a decade redefining what’s possible in the world of athletics. His professional path was forged by profound personal change. Following a life-altering spinal cord injury in 2005, Greg faced the steep challenge of navigating a new physical reality. This period would prove to be his path to transcendence. Beyond simply recovering, he used his own experience and disability to become an expert in the mechanics of adaptation. In 2009, following a business pilot program through Syracuse University’s StartUp NY, Greg founded Move Along Adaptive Sports. As Executive Director and President for 12 years, he engineered the growth of a regional powerhouse that launched nearly a dozen programs from sled hockey to inclusive athletics education in local high schools. His leadership in developing the game of golf is systemic. He served on the Board of Directors for ARISE and the Garrett Dunsmoor Foundation. He trained under National Director JP Lunn to become a Certified PGA HOPE instructor and leader for Helping Our Patriots Everywhere, the PGA’s flagship program for veterans. And in 2021, Greg founded CNY Adaptive Golf, a non-profit that serves as a reintegration for those with physical limitations, ensuring the game of golf is accessible to everyone. Currently, he is also deep into the rigorous pursuit of becoming a PGA Professional himself and is on track to complete his final on-course testing in Fall 2026 From 2005 to today, Greg has transformed a personal hurdle into a professional mission by dedicating his life and career to ensuring athletics are accessible to everyone.
